How would the world economy hold up to a new international Global currency? - global currency
I do not know if I apply the law ...
I wonder if all benefit, whether it is a currency unit (such as "Terra" for the arguments of the case) that is not based on the currency of a nation, but is a global market and ingots supported, rather than a supply of banknotes.
Or something like that exist today?

Well, the dollar is the standard in certain situations, but only as a habit or convenience, but as a mandate.
But yes, I think the world is a world currency ready. All economies in the world are so close now. And we have all the exchange rates of currencies now. For me it's a short step to adopting a global currency. The banks and branches of trade are irrelevant, in my humble opinion.
